Does this mean firing a dwarf crocodile at Saturn? No. It means culturing crocodile bone cells and exposing to what is called ''microgravity'' in the lab. This is done using a random positioning machine. It can also be done using magnetic levitation. Then ask do these ''dino-cells'' switch on any countermeasures? With novel molecules found [if any] being adapted to treat diseases such as Osteogenesis Imperfecta [brittle bones]. Novel medicines are valuable. As per the space4 ethos it is argued this work could again reduce animal testing and be done as an entrepreneurial business . It could also raise the profile of Orphan Diseases [such as brittle bone] research. REFERENCES within draft business plan.
A move has been published [Sept 2014] has been made by NASA to launch a mouse in space - the MURF-1 mouse. A mouse model for a muscle wasting disease. We believe if space agencies must do that then use the already well documented CF [Cystic Fibrosis] mouse and monitor effect of microgravity on mucus transport /load . Ultimately though we say study the space adaption of ''evolutionary relics'' .
Enjoyed the space4 ''Dinosuars In Space''concept but prefer to support orphan disease a little more directly then please donate to preferred charity [ref space4] www.care4brittlebones.nl

Why do this? Bone Loss. Crocodiles seem to be natures ultimate survivors. Surviving millennia against hunger , disease, predators ,radiation. Did they also develop any strategies against bone wasting ? Could their physiological strategies/adaptions be applied to space habitation or disease on Earth? Biology for space technology.
